These new tract homes should be ILLEGAL!!


Jordan tours a cookie cutter house farm and finds the building quality to be worse than you probably dare to imagine. Waterproofing details are terrible, the job site is a wreck, and they use NO sheathing except the concrete board siding!

The sad thing is, most buyers have no idea the problems they are buying into when they buy this type of home. What’s worse, is that it will be the second or third owner who will have to start paying the piper for all the corners cut. Are you seeing this type of negligent building practices where you are from? Is it getting better or worse?

BTW, did you hear the price of these homes?  200-250k!  Now that is a WTF.

These homes are worth 50k at best.  ~Tony
