A Riverside police officer displays one of the new radios that allows officers to directly communicate with county sheriff's deputies for the first time. The Police Department switched over to the Public Safety Enterprise Communication system on June 29, 2016.

It seems that those who invent the tech, maintenance and service the tech and deploy on behalf of the powers that be are using their powers to disrupt city wide communication in Chicago.

Hackers across the nation are now disrupting communication within protesting areas to send a message.
